The BIZ ventilation and intensive care centers are a professional and reliable partner at the side of hospitals and rehabilitation facilities: We take over the further care of your patients with complex illnesses who require intensive care and ventilation - even if things have to happen quickly, discharges are ad hoc possible.
In our provider-responsible residential communities, we offer high-quality nursing and care services for people with demanding nursing and care needs. It is important to us to care for the patients entrusted to us according to their individual needs and at the same time to enable them a maximum of self-determination.
We work according to the high quality standards of the S2 guidelines for “Non-invasive and invasive ventilation as a therapy for chronic respiratory insufficiency”. Of course, our modernly equipped facilities meet all building law and structural quality requirements for special care buildings
We are experts in intensive care, ventilation, vegetative state and long-term care for patients with complex care needs. With our professional, high-quality care services, we meet your demanding medical requirements – as these examples show

We take care of the out-of-hospital care of patients requiring ventilation for any form of ventilation procedure. The focus for us is the permanent improvement of the quality of life and self-determination of the seriously ill people.
Tissue changes in the upper and lower airways due to carcinoma. Eg throat cancer
Our basic nursing care services range from personal hygiene, nutrition and mobility to disease monitoring and prevention.
24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to ensure vital functions in the form of medical care measures. At least two specialists are always on site at each facility for out-of-hospital ventilation.
It is important to us to organize the transition from the hospital or rehabilitation facility to our intensive care residential communities as easily and seamlessly as possible. We would like to relieve you and take over the complete case management for you.
To achieve this, we work closely with everyone involved – both the health and nursing care insurance companies and the patients’ relatives. We know that the need for transition care can arise very suddenly. You can rely on us, especially in these acute cases.
In our intensive care residential communities, we care for patients requiring ventilation according to the highest quality standards. To this end, we have established a comprehensive quality management system,
which is based on the standards of the S2k guidelines for “non-invasive and invasive ventilation for the treatment of chronic respiratory insufficiency”. Of course, we are certified according to the quality testing guidelines (QPR).
A tracheostomy (windpipe incision) may be necessary if the upper and lower airways are disturbed. Causes include lung diseases or severe swallowing disorders.
With some diseases, normal food intake via the gastrointestinal tract is not possible - for example with cancer, some intestinal diseases or after serious accidents. These patients receive their nutrition via an infusion.
Some people can
Do not consume food by mouth - for example in the event of a traumatic brain injury or after operations on the esophagus. You will be supplied with liquid nutrition through a tube. Either via a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) – a stomach tube. Or via a percutaneous endoscopic jejunostomy (PEJ) – a tube into the small intestine
A port is a permanently inserted catheter that provides permanent access to the blood system or specific body cavities. It enables medication or other liquids to be infused gently. Typical areas of application are parenteral nutrition or chemotherapy for cancer.
An important care goal for our patients who require ventilation is their soon possible return to independent breathing and thus to a self-determined life. Particularly for patients who have been on ventilation for a long time, it is often difficult and time-consuming to carry out gradual weaning from ventilation.
With a high level of specialist expertise and experience, we take care of the entire weaning process as well as the decannulation of tracheostomized patients. This demanding task is carried out exclusively by respiratory therapists or nursing experts for out-of-hospital intensive care and ventilation with additional training. Of course, we monitor ventilation optimization with regular blood gas analyses.
